Busy end of the week

Hey friends and family!

This week has been a lot of fun and pretty busy. The beginning of the week was consisted mostly of zone work. However, the end was packed with one event after the other.

Let me go through some of the highlights:

A while back around the time when I was in the United States/Canada Services zone. The then Assistant Zone Leader (Now Zone Leader) promised the Elder's if they got their U.S./Canada Pin, which is quite a bit of work to attain, he would throw a pizza party for us. So, that came to fulfillment Saturday night. We all went on swaps with other people who earned the pin. I went with Elder Pastor who was in my first district as a District Leader. They had about 8 family size pizzas, and there where about 10 young elders and 6 seniors. You can do the math. So, that was a really fun night. We ate food, took some photos, talked for a while and left.

On Monday night, we as a mission went and saw the Fighting Preacher. It's a really interesting story that I had been reading about lately. The story of Willard and Rebecca Bean who were called to farm the Palmyra Farm land after the church bought it. It's a pretty awesome story of a 26 year mission surrounding all the other stuff they did. Included boxing. What was even more awesome is after the movie ended we had one of the producers (Not T.C.) and the actor who played Rebecca Bean there, and we did a short Q&A. That was pretty cool.

On Tuesday we had transfers!  I got a new district leader who's pretty awesome, as well as a new companion, who's awesome. He actually came in my incoming group. So, we've been out equally as long. We're having a fun time and enjoying life.

That's pretty much it for this week! Write you all in the next one!

From,
Elder Hall
