Q&A and Mission Conference

Hey Friends and Family,

So, this week Zone has continued to steadily get more busy. We've been having more and more groups, as well as quite a few families coming in to the point where we're getting pretty full. We've also been remodeling our floor. We've been anticipating this since December. But, we're finally moving out the vast majority of our old-school Microfilm Readers. We're converting the 2 South Classroom into a Quiet Room for those who still want to use them in a quiet area. Because, what we're turning it into could involve quite a bit of noise. We're going to bring in some new desks, with new workstations consisting each of a Dual-Monitor Computer with a ScanPro. These also are designed to sit multiple people to a single computer.

So, that's been happening. We also had a Q&A event with our Mission President Wednesday night following the Apostolic visit. Also, on Monday we had another huge dinner Mission Conference. Meaning, dinner in the Conference Center, normally a mission photo (Canceled due to rain), and a talk in the Assembly Hall. So, that was a lot of fun. The dinner was very much a Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey, potatoes, cranberry and the like, and the conference was President and Sister Fenn on the witnesses of the resurrection.

On Saturday Evening my Companion and I went and did Initiatory. We got out pretty quick. So, we went around seeing what other Elders where doing. We found another Companionship going to the Stake Center to see if people were there. There weren't. As we where trying to think of what to do, I suggested a quick outdoor workout. It was a good one. We all had a fun time, and I think I burned some serious calories.

Sunday Evening, we had an awesome dinner appointment with three Senior Sisters. There was some really good, fattening food. So, we had an awesome time there. Then, we also had a few other companionships over for a fun night.

Till the next one!

From,
Elder Hall
