Humanitarian Center, General Conference, Apostolic Visit
Hey Friends and Family,
This week has has had some prominent significance from the others. On Wednesday last week, quite a few of us where able to help the Church Humanitarian Center compile Cleaning Kits during the evening. It was a lot of fun, and we completed over 940 of them.
This weekend was pretty fun with General Conference. We where in attendance for the Priesthood Session. Right up front on the B1 Plaza. We where able to greet a lot of the Apostles and Seventies that where entering the building. So that was pretty interesting. The rest of the Sessions we either watched in the North Visitors Center or the Legacy Theater.
This morning, we had a visit from two of the Quorum of the Twelve. That took up a pretty chunk out of our P-day. But, totally worth it. We were able to shake hands and hear from Elder Neil L. Andersen and Elder Ulisses Soares. They were able to share with us some of their experiences and some motivation. It was really a great meeting and I think set us up for the rest of the day.
That's pretty much it for this week!
From,
Elder Hall
