St. Josephs and Thunderstorms

Hey friends and family!

This week has been pretty busy with General Conference coming up. There's a definite increase the amount of people at British Services, and it's kept our hands pretty full.

Due to the greater amount of time doing Zone work this week, I'll try and focus on what has been going on outside of Zone work. Given that a lot of the time spent out of British Services is spent going between Zone and other normal destinations, there is really only three things I think be pertinent to contain in this letter.

First off, to the excitement of many of us our boundaries have been expanded. They've about doubled in size giving us a bit more flexibility in where we can go. Another upside to it is that we now have access to better quality grocery stores than we used to.

Second, on top of our boundaries being changed, are faster means of transportation have been temporarily eliminated. As probably many of you have experienced, we had a lot of thunderstorms this week. There's nothing wrong with some rain. However, when lightning strikes the Trax system and melts two of its cars it can be a little annoying getting places. So for the time being both the blue and green line Trax have been shut down, which happen to be the very one's we use.

Third, on a brighter note. On Sunday we were able to go assist in an Catholic assisted living facility known as St. Josephs. We administered the sacrament around the building, where able to give a blessing, and help assist with a Sacrament Meeting. I will say it was my first time helping with the sacrament from a catholic altar front and center. It was a very spiritual experience.

That's pretty much the prominent stuff from this week. I hope you all will have an amazing week, and I'll write again on the next one.

From,
Elder Hall
